  • 1 teaspoon freshlyground ginger
  • 1 pinch cardamom
  • ½ teaspoon blackpepper
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • Blend the milk, erythritol or dates and one half of the turmeric. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Roast the other half of the turmeric together with the rest of the spices in a pot, taking care not to let the spices burn.
  • Add in the blended turmeric-milk mixture. Let it get warm, it should not boil.
  • Lastly, add the coconut oil and mix until properly melted.
  • Serve in cups. Enjoy warm.

  • To enhance the flavour of the spices, roast half of the turmeric together with the rest of the spices before adding in the turmeric milk.
  • You can make turmeric paste by mixing all the ingredients with a bit of water to form a smooth paste. This can then be stored in the freezer for later use, using an ice tray.
